FruitLook Case Study: Remote Sensing Technology Survey

FruitLook is a remote sensing technology that has been supporting crop growers in the Western Cape to achieve greater water use efficiency since 2011. However, remote sensing technology has many applications and understanding how it is being utilised or where the needs are, can help to develop the technology further and create awareness of its benefits.

In order to gain a better understanding of the use of remote sensing technology amongst farmers, crop advisors or consultants, the FruitLook Team set up a survey with key questions and asked visitors of Nampo Cape 2023 and delegates at the 9th International Macadamia Symposium 2023 to complete it.
