Blue North

Cyber security is no longer just an IT issue — it is a business-critical responsibility. A recent Forbes article highlighted the scale of the threat, reporting that KELA’s State of Cybercrime 2026 identified 2.86 billion compromised credentials, including passwords and session cookies that can potentially be used to bypass two-factor authentication. Business cloud and authentication services accounted for more than 30% of the exposed data across 2025, reinforcing how important it is for organisations to protect access to systems and information.

At Blue North, we recognise the importance of protecting the information entrusted to us by our clients, partners, and stakeholders. We are therefore proud to share that Blue North Sustainability (Pty) Ltd has been certified under the Cyber Essentials Scheme, an independently assessed cyber security standard that confirms we meet key requirements designed to protect organisations against common cyber threats.

Our certification applies to the whole organisation and confirms that our ICT defences were assessed against the Cyber Essentials implementation profile. This reflects the practical steps we have taken to strengthen our systems, reduce cyber risk, and support the secure handling of client information.

For our clients, this provides added assurance that Blue North takes information security seriously and continues to invest in protecting the data and relationships that matter most.
