As water scarcity intensifies in Peru’s coastal regions, Worldwide Fruit Limited (WFL) continues to showcase the efforts of its strategic suppliers in driving sustainable water management. Agrokasa, a leading Peruvian agricultural exporter and a WFL strategic supplier partner since 2019, is at the forefront of innovative water stewardship in avocado production.
With 1,200 hectares of avocados in Lima and 420 hectares in Ica, Agrokasa tackles water challenges through advanced irrigation, aquifer recovery, and wastewater reuse via its state-of-the-art Wastewater Treatment Plant. Beyond water stewardship, the company supports worker well-being with safe WASH facilities, free meals, and biodiversity conservation.
