David Farrell is a Senior Associate of the University of Cambridge’s Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) and contributes as a faculty member to CISL’s Sustainability Practitioners Programme that is delivered twice a year in South Africa.
The most recent programme held at Diemersfontein in March, had 21 delegates from a wide range of industries including food, banking, insurance, retail and agriculture. The course is designed to arm delegated with the understanding and tools to catalyze the needed change within their private and professional lives. Structured around syndicate groups that support deeper engagement and reflection, the course content is delivered over three days and covers the global sustainability challenge, what this means for organisations, how organisations should be responding, guiding principles for a sustainability strategy and re-framing strategy to deliver sustainability impact & outcomes.
